To validate this guarantee the buyer must have the said puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian within 48-72 hours of receipt of the puppy. Failure to do so will result in this contract becoming null and void. If the said puppy is found to have anything seriously wrong with it, the buyer must contact the seller immediately and a written notice from the vet must be provided with details of what was found and how it is life threatening. At that time arrangements for a replacement puppy can be made, a cash refund will only be given within the first 3 days of purchase or a replacement puppy of the same quality (color, sex, cost, etc.) will be provided as soon as one is available. No cash refunds will be given after the first 3 days. Seller has one year to replace puppy. All vet expenses will be the sole responsibility of the buyer.
At the time of the agreement said puppy is to be in good health to the best of the sellers knowledge and is said to be pet quality. Great care has been given to prevent or eliminate parasites. I guarantee my dogs to be pet quality. I cannot guarantee puppy color, weight, or size. Not covered are slight genetic and non-life threatening issues: hernias, undescended testicles, loose patella and under or overbite. We do not cover any parasites. All of our puppies are dewormed and given Nemex 2 and SafeGuard for any parasites that may be present. However,
it is possible that a parasite could survive and further treatment may be necessary. If this is the case, it is the buyers responsibility to obtain this treatment from the veterinarian. We do NOT cover Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), because this can be triggered from the stress of a new environment. Small breed puppies are easily susceptible to this. Information to prevent or remedy this is given at the time of pick up and or is located on my website. We do not cover Coccidia because it is not unusual for the stress of changing homes to cause an outbreak of coccidia. Shenandoah Valley Pups will in no way be liable for the above, these are not
considered life threatening if treated properly by a veterinarian. Your puppy is guaranteed against life threatening congenital defects until one year of age. If
within this period, your puppy is found to have such a congenital defect, puppy may be returned along with a report from their veterinarian, to breeder for replacement with next available puppy of same value. Should a death occur within this period, a necropsy must be performed to determine cause of death. If death was caused by a congenital defect, the necropsy report would need to be provided to breeder for replacement of puppy with next available puppy of same value. Breeder is NOT responsible for any veterinarian or shipping expenses. This contract is null and void if all vaccinations are not kept current by a veterinarian. If the said puppy is transferred to another individual this agreement becomes null and void. If the buyer is unable to keep said puppy the seller may be able to take the puppy back or help place it. Buyer agrees to have read and understood this agreement and by signing below accepts the terms listed herein.
